It's been over two months since our last update. Not because we slowed down — because we've been heads-down on the biggest set of releases in Move Right's history. This newsletter covers everything from April 11 through today: new products, new infrastructure, and features your moving company will feel on day one.
AI Proactive Monitoring — your jobs watch themselves
This is the one we're most excited about.
We call it Heartbeat — and it's the biggest thing we've ever built. Move Right now runs scheduled AI analysis on every active job, reading context, catching issues, and taking action so you don't have to. Think of it as an extra team member who never sleeps and never misses a detail.
We're rolling this out in four phases. You can start wherever makes sense for your operation:
Phase 1 — Summaries: An up-to-date, plain-language summary of every job, always visible on the overview page. No more digging through comments to figure out where things stand.
Phase 2 — Escalations: The AI flags problems, missed calls, and opportunities in real time and alerts the right staff. Issues get surfaced before they become emergencies.
Phase 3 — Proactive Communication: The AI answers customer questions via text or email, triggers follow-ups and confirmations automatically (by text, call, or email), and handles routine outreach so your team can focus on the work that matters.
Phase 4 — Self-Improving AI: Our proprietary dashboard automatically updates the AI's instructions based on what went well and what went wrong. You provide focus areas — the AI learns, remembers, and configures the system for you over time. No more spending hours thinking up the highest-value automations. The AI figures it out.
We're in alpha and rolling out zone by zone. Reply to this email or contact your Move Right account manager to sign up for the phase that fits your operation.
AegisDoc — our own document engine (goodbye, PandaDoc dependency)
We built AegisDoc from scratch: an in-house document rendering and e-signature engine that replaces our dependency on PandaDoc for receipts, estimates, and invoices.
What used to go through a third-party service now runs entirely inside Move Right. Documents render in your browser for preview, convert to PDF for delivery, and look exactly the same every time — no more formatting surprises or outages from external providers.
E-signatures are built in: Customers and crew sign directly in the browser. Draw your signature or snap a photo. Every signed document gets a cryptographic audit trail with tamper-sealing and ESIGN-compliant consent — so you know exactly who signed, when, and that nothing was changed after the fact.
Invoices are live: Aegis invoices support creation, regeneration, sending, and signing — and zones can switch between Aegis and PandaDoc as needed, so there's no forced migration.
What's in it for you: Faster document generation, no more PandaDoc outages taking down your estimates, signing that's legally sound out of the box, and a document experience we can customize without filing a support ticket.
Additional contacts — because your customer isn't always just one person
Customers now support multiple email addresses and phone numbers, each with a name and relationship label (spouse, assistant, property manager, whatever fits). Additional contacts appear in the job overview, show up in omnisearch, and receive notifications — emails are CC'd, SMS goes to every phone on file.
When you create a job from an opportunity, all known contacts pre-fill automatically. No more writing "wife's number: 555-0199" in the notes field.
Tiered job sources — know exactly where your leads come from
"How did you hear about us?" used to be a flat list. Now it's a tree. You can set up tiered sources like:
Realtor → Remax → Betty White
Google Ads → Summer Campaign → "movers near me"
Admins drag, drop, rename, and reorder the tree on the Marketing page. The Sources dashboard folds everything up to the parent category for the high-level view, and you can drill down tier by tier in the pipeline chart. Dynamic reports get a new "Source (tiered)" filter that matches descendants, so you can ask "how many jobs came from Realtors, including sub-sources?" without counting manually.
Legacy flat values like "Radio" keep working — they're just depth-1 paths. No migration needed.
Three new dashboards
Ops Readiness — billed vs. calculated columns for crew, hours, labor, and drive time, with collapsible detail rows and inline diff values. See exactly where reality diverges from the plan.
Sales Leaderboard — top-3 podium sorted by booked revenue, seven metric views (revenue, booked, estimated, net conversion, leads, cancellations, jobs), shared-in event filter, and unassigned agent drill-down.
System Revenue — Internal Revenue, Net Shared Revenue, and Shared Out Revenue per franchise with drill-down, CSV/Sheets export, and copy.
All three support Dashboard Demo Mode — toggle it from your profile to see curated fixture data, perfect for training and screenshots without exposing real customer info.
Other big improvements
Crew pay calculator — the OTR calculator now lists crew from job events, lets you select which parts each crew member worked on, add tips, and track total owed vs. paid. A new eventCrewMember group-by option in dynamic reports tracks this data downstream.
Dialpad voicemail, missed calls, abandoned calls, and recordings — all major call event types can now trigger actions with Bee such as autodials after abandoned calls. Voicemail transcriptions, missed calls, and abandoned calls appear as comments on the right job thread.
Cyclical period buckets in dynamic reports — break your report data into weekly, monthly, or quarterly columns and compare periods side by side.
Invoiced revenue column — a new column in dynamic reports showing finalized invoice amounts alongside realized and scheduled revenue.
AI contact time calculation — the scheduler now computes reasonable contact-time windows for each customer, so autodial won't call too early or too late.
Autodial minimum call interval — enforces a minimum gap between outbound calls with attempted contact and the next scheduled call.
Calendar date remarks — zone admins can set remarks on specific calendar dates, visible in schedule views and the booking modal.
Node 24 upgrade — backend performance and security improvements
History search powered by Elasticsearch — the job history feed is now backed by ES for faster full-text search and real-time indexing.
Watchers notified on customer email replies — when a customer replies to an email with a document attached, watchers now get notified.
Custom column names in dynamic reports — rename report headers to whatever makes sense for your team; names carry through to CSV exports.
Availability timezone correction — misconfigured America/Phoenix timezones fixed to America/Chicago, preventing 1–2 hour DST scheduling errors.
Storage locations excluded from dispatch — storage stops no longer clutter the dispatch page or skew route optimization.
