Introducing Templates & Variables: Your New Time-Saving Superpower
Say goodbye to endless copying and pasting! One of our most requested features is here. You can now create, save, and share templates for job summaries, activity comments, and even dispatch schedules.
Create Once, Use Everywhere: Build templates for job summaries, opportunity notes, and activity comments. You can even create templates for sending schedules to your crew from the dispatch page!
Share with Your Team: Set default templates for each location to ensure consistency and share best practices across your entire team.
Auto-Fill with Variables: Why type when the system can do it for you? Insert variables into your templates to automatically pull in customer names, job details, addresses, and more. Even your email subjects can be templated!
How to Get Started With Templates:
Create a Template: Navigate to the templates page by going to Settings > Templates. Click "Add Template," give it a name, and choose a "context" (like 'Job Summary' or 'Activity Comment') to define where it will appear. As you write your template content, click the Variable icon to insert placeholders that pull live data directly from the job.

—
Add a variable by clicking on the label 🏷️ emoji.
Set a Default: On the main Templates page, click the Star icon next to a template to make it the default for that context and location. This means it will automatically appear without needing to be selected!

Use a Template: When you're in the context you chose (e.g., adding a comment), your default template will appear automatically. To choose a different one, just click the Template icon and select from your list. It will erase any existing content you may have.

Our AI Just Got Smarter
We're continuing to enhance our AI systems to streamline your daily tasks.
Smarter Inventory Updates: The "Update Inventory" AI tool is now drastically more capable. By understanding the job context and your existing inventory, it can make intelligent updates from a simple comment. Just change your comment mode to “Update Inventory” and list your items!

AI Autodialer Improvements: We've rolled out significant upgrades to the thinking, logic, and prompts for the AI Autodialer, leading to smarter customer interactions. It works to contact customers at the most convenient times and automates SMS and email follow-ups.
The AI Autodialer is currently in alpha. Contact us to get early access!
More Power & Polish Across the Platform
Beyond the headline features, we've rolled out dozens of improvements to enhance your daily workflow.
Find Jobs Faster: You can now search for jobs directly by address from the main jobs page.
Never Lose Your Work: When editing a long comment, your changes are now automatically saved to your device. If you accidentally leave the page, you can retrieve your draft when you come back.
Better Reporting: We've improved Dynamic Reports by setting the default event status filter to "any" and fixing an issue that would incorrectly multiply job revenue.
Faster & More Reliable: We've shipped major performance improvements to Jobs V2 (especially with many comments), the backend rule system, and customer intake to make the whole system feel snappier.
What's Next?
We're already hard at work on the next round of updates based on your feedback. We're focused on making Jobs V2 and our AI systems even more powerful, with upcoming features including:
The ability to more quickly adjust the itinerary on each event.
More AI tooling to help you stay on top of follow-ups, update jobs faster, and automatically generate estimates.
A much-improved dialer integration to streamline your sales workflow.
New tools and improvements to Jobs V2, increasing the efficiency of your sales center team.
Thank you for your continued partnership and feedback. We're excited to see how these new tools help you grow your business!
Best,
The Move Right Team
